The International Friends are delighted to invite you to our opening event for the 2023/24 season, which launches the Tenth Anniversary celebrations for the International Friends of the Mauritshuis. Our first event is a fascinating lecture in the Mauritshuis Brasserie on Thursday 21 September, which will examine the museum’s upcoming special exhibition ‘Loot – 10 Stories’.
The lecture will be a double presentation: Quentin Buvelot and Sheila Reda will discuss the history of looted artworks and the ownership of certain pieces in the exhibition, and of course, welcome your questions.

- Please arrive by 18:00 for 18:15 start
- duration 1½ hours
